Jesus Says:

"Whatsoever You Do
To The Least
of My Brothers..."

Who we are

Welcome to the official webpage of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Abuja Central Council.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is the official charity group of the Catholic Church. It caters to the poorest of the poor  in the society. We work within the environs and jurisdiction where a Catholic church is located.

What we do

“No work of Charity is foreign to the society”. Whatever the problems that are encountered, sickness or disability, mental or physical, family problems, social or economic, the loneliness of old age, the alcoholic, the drug addict, the social misfit, the homeless, etc the Society of St Vincent de Paul is there to help.
We provide material and spiritual aid to the poor

The greatest gift we give to the poor is our time, our presence, our concern, our listening whenever, possible.

Meetings / Attending to our Masters

Conferences meet at least once in a week to report, deliberate and attend to our masters and friend’s-in-need in their various locations.

Empowerment

We empower our masters in education, skill acquisition, and small-scale business.
Counseling and Reconciliation: Counseling of our masters etc…

Visitations

Visitations are carried out by conferences to hospitals (mainly general hospitals) in the vicinity where they pay medical bills, feed, get provisions etc for indigent patients …

What we have achieved

In our various conferences in the Central Council, we have been able to reach out to the needy and the less privileged ones within and around our various communities. As Jesus said we would always have the poor in our midst. View our activities.
